Provincial Sales Tax (PST) in British Columbia

The Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) came into effect in BC on July 1, 2010, replacing the PST.  However, some consumer taxes are still charged by the province, such as the tax on designated property (vehicles, boats and aircraft).  For more information, see
