British Columbia Tax Relief for 2011 - suspended

 

Personal income tax rates

It was proposed in October that the the two lowest provincial personal income tax rates would be reduced for 2011.  On November 17, 2010, it was announced that the proposed tax reduction for 2011 has been suspended.  See the news release from the Office of the Premier, which also indicated that the next budget will be tabled on February 15, 2011, with no new initiatives beyond what is statutorily required.
