Canada Gazette - Canada's Official Newspaper

The Canada Gazette is the "official newspaper" for the Government of Canada.  It contains all:

bulletformal public notices
bulletofficial appointments
bulletproposed regulations
bulletpublic acts of Parliament from government departments and agencies
bulletmiscellaneous public notices from private sector organizations, that are required by statute to publish the notices

Did you know that you have a say in all regulations proposed by the Government of Canada?  Canadians can provide comments on proposed regulations found in Part I of the Gazette, which is normally published every Saturday.  These regulations may be related to income tax, food and drugs, the environment, transportation, fisheries, and many other areas.  Each proposed regulation has a contact name and a closing date for comments.
