Free Online Quebec QST Registry

The QST registry on the Revenue Quebec website allows you to confirm a firm's QST number, and to obtain the name of the Quebec Sales Tax (QST) registrant.  See Revenu Quebec Validation of QST and GST Numbers

Tax Tips:

For businesses:  When dealing with a new vendor, check to see if their QST number is valid.  This will help ensure that you will receive your input tax credits.

For individuals:  You can check to see if a firm's QST number is valid, so you don't pay GST/HST unnecessarily.
