Manitoba Probate Fees
Although the probate process is still required, Manitoba eliminated the
related fees as of November 6, 2020. See the Court
of Queen's Bench Notice.
Probate Fees Prior to November 6, 2020
For a probate application made
on or after
July 1, 2005 and before November 6, 2020, where the value of the property subject to probate
was:
| $10,000 or less |
$70 |
| over $10,000 |
for first $10,000 |
$70 |
|
for value over $10,000 |
$7 per $1,000 or portion(0.7%) |
There are still court fees payable in connection with probate. See s. 2(3) of
